LRNK Basmati Rice (soaked) 5 tbsp Milk 1 lt. Saffron a generous pinch

Sugar 3/4 cup Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp Pistachios (blanched, peeled & sliced) 10-15 |
Drain and grind the rice to a coarse paste. Bring milk to a boil. Add rice paste dissolved in a little water or cold mil. Cook till rice is completely tender, stirring constantly. |
Add saffron and cardamom powder and mix well. Add sugar and cook till sugar is completely dissolved. Pour into eartherware or chinaware bowls and garnish with pistachios. Chill in refrigerator for an hour before serving. |
